"Losing is never easy, especially in a final.

Knowing how hard it is to get to that position and how hard it is to lift that cup, only to fall short hurts.

But I am incredibly proud of this playing group, what we achieved this season and what we played through over this years finals weekend.

You would be shocked to know some of the injuries we were carrying in that locker room and based on the way those guys performed, you wouldn`t have been able to tell.

That’s a testament to their toughness, their commitment to the B, to one another and their willingness to put everything on the line to give us the best chance possible at another Goodall Cup.

To our staff, volunteers, sponsors and fans, thank you for showing up for us every single game this year and making your support known. We have the best fans in the league and the best people around the team, and we never take that for granted. We wouldn`t have made it as far as we did without you all so again, thank you all.

This one hurts, but it doesn’t take away from what this group accomplished or the season we had. I’m so proud to wear this jersey, proud of the guys in that locker room and very proud to represent Canberra.

Thank you for all for coming for the ride this season. We’ll be back hungrier than ever before to get the job done in 2027."
