"As we begin to approach the middle part of the season, it’s fair to say that we’ve faced a bit of adversity up until this point.
Canberra Brave wishes to advise you that the date for Canberra Brave v Sydney Ice Dogs has been rescheduled to Sun 26 Jul 2026 at 2pm.
We`re excited to announce the signing of Carson Miller for the 2026 AIHL season!
We`re incredibly disappointed to announce that scans have confirmed Nick Christensen has ruptured his ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season.
Building from last weekend, I think that this weekend at home, we have a massive opportunity to get back to rolling as a consistent group and solidify the way we know we can, and want to, moving forward."
~ #71 Jordon Brunt
Tickets purchased for the original dates remain valid for the rescheduled dates above. Ticket holders do not need to take any further action.

An elite forward, Carson brings a strong hockey background, including several seasons in the WHL with Prince Albert and Victoria. More recently, he has established himself as one of the AIHL`s premier offensive players, producing at an elite level and proving to be a game-changing forward. In addition to his offensive production, Carson brings a strong work ethic, competitiveness, and a physical edge to his game.
"I’m really excited to be back in Australia and grateful for the opportunity to join the Canberra Brave. I’ve heard great things about the group and I’m looking forward to getting started, meeting everyone, and helping the team however I can. Most of all I can’t wait to get playing. The group and the facilities are amazing and I feel so lucky to be out here. I’ve always loved Australia, the people, the lifestyle, and the outdoors here. I`m super excited to be back."
“I will look to be involved with the team as much as possible to support in our quest for another Goodall Cup. Luckily we have the best medical staff in the league with Jono, Shane and Brent and will aim to be back next season strong and better than ever."
We wish Nick all the best in his recovery, and look forward to seeing him back on the ice in 2027.
