The social media team took a day off so we left Bayley and Casey in charge of our promo material for next weekend’s game against Perth.
After a year of sellout crowds and AIHL attendance records, the Canberra Brave have become more than just Canberra’s hockey team, they’re part of the city’s identity.
With the new season starting this weekend, it’s time to run it back and Run This Town.
Brayden arrives with an extensive professional resume, having played over 500 games across the ECHL, with additional time spent in the AHL and throughout Europe. A product of the WHL, he developed through one of the world’s premier junior leagues before transitioning into a long and consistent pro career.
Brayden brings a powerful combination of size, strength and presence. He’s a hard-nosed forward who plays the game the right way. Alongside his physical edge, he has proven he can produce offensively, coming off strong recent seasons with the Orlando Solar Bears where he has contributed consistently on the scoresheet.
This isn’t his first time in the Brave colours, Brayden joined us for a stint in the AIHL in 2019 where he put up 17 points in 7 games.
We are excited to welcome Brayden back to Australia and can’t wait to see him hit the ice!
Please note tables are available on a first in, best dressed basis. No ticketing is required.
After a breakout first season in the AIHL, we’re excited to announce the return of Dom Canic for 2026. Dom made an immediate impact on the team, scoring 42 points from 23 games in the regular season.
“I’m back. Let’s win this thing.”
Jacob was also awarded ‘Best Forward of the Tournament’ 🥳
Think you can do better? Grab the kids, create your own version for next Saturday and send them through! Bayley and Casey may even pick their favourites 👀
