Justin Maylan returns to Canberra!
A dynamic offensive forward, Peter arrives in Canberra following an outstanding professional career in North America, highlighted by multiple seasons in the ECHL with the Wichita Thunder. A former NCAA Division III Player of the Year and All-American at St. Norbert College, Peter built a reputation as a high-end point producer, combining elite hockey IQ, creativity, and finishing ability.
A 2024 ECHL All-Star, Peter arrives in Canberra with a reputation as a dynamic offensive force, combining elite speed, high-end skill, and a relentless compete level. His proven ability to produce at the professional level, impact games in all situations, and lead by example makes him a valuable addition to our lineup. Alongside his offensive talent, Peter brings professionalism, experience, and a team-first mentality that will be a tremendous asset to the Canberra Brave both on and off the ice.

A veteran Canadian centre with an extensive professional career across Europe and North America, Justin returns to Canberra after playing a key role in the Brave`s 2024 Goodall Cup Championship season. Renowned for his elite hockey IQ, playmaking ability, and leadership qualities, Justin quickly became a fan favourite during his time in Canberra, providing a steady veteran presence and making an impact in all situations.
With years of professional experience and a proven track record of offensive production, Justin brings skill, composure, and leadership to our lineup. His ability to elevate those around him, combined with his team-first mentality and championship experience, makes him an invaluable addition to the Brave both on and off the ice.
Having already experienced success in Brave colours, Justin knows what it takes to win in Canberra, and we are thrilled to welcome him back as we continue our pursuit of another Goodall Cup.
